The Inner Peace Award

doncharimsa-org-inner-peace-awardWow!  I have been very blessed this week to receive not only the Butterfly Light Award, but also The Inner Peace Award!  I don’t have the words to express my gratitude to Don Charisma for awarding me with this new honor.  But that doesn’t mean I won’t try.

A big thank you to Don Charisma!

The force is strong with you. I hope you continue to spread light and joy through your blog.

Anyone who hasn’t already had the privilege should absolutely stop by his site. If not for the beauty and peaceful perspectives, then because you will learn something from an established blogger (and possible Jedi Master).

Why do I accept the Inner Peace award?

Much to say, she has (you didn’t think you’d get away without a Yoda reference, did you?)

I’ve worked hard in my life to find peace in an otherwise chaotic world.  I’ve been able to smile when obstacles seemed to have blocked my path and do not let unfortunate circumstances mandate my life.  I’ve pushed farther and harder than most people I know, and have accomplished many of the goals I set out to master.  We will never live in an entirely peaceful world, but we have to find that peace – find ways to turn a situation around and make the best of it while still holding your head up high and standing strong.

That being said, I accept this award so that I can use it to spread inner peace!  We all have it, even if you don’t feel like it right now – you CAN find your inner peace too! Sometimes we just need that reminder or to be pointed in the right direction to find the things that make us feel at peace.  Look around you today – notice things you haven’t before and let yourself smile when you feel that urge.

Leave a note in the comment section – let us know how you’ve kept your inner peace, or shown someone else how to find theirs.  This is a great opportunity for positive discussions and to learn from each other and find some new followers along the way. Don’t let it pass you by!
